The purpose of the Life, Marriage and Family Ministry is to provide or facilitate a suite of Catholic-based services and programmes to help parishioners cope with the challenges that they may face on the journey of life.

The services include:

Marriage Mentoring
Mature married couples accompany those who are journeying towards marriage. They answer questions and offer advice based on their many years of experience.

Marriage Enrichment
The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help married couples to invest in their relationship and build strong marriages. For further details visit https://themarriagecourses.org/

General Counselling
The parish priest and a team of volunteers offer various forms of counselling. The team includes a professional psychologist, trained trauma counsellors and an AIDS counsellor. Those who need help should contact the parish priest in the first instance.

Home and Hospital Visits
Warm, friendly, compassionate parishioners are willing to visit parishioners who need a listening ear or some comfort, in their homes or in hospitals. Contact the parish office.

Griefshare
It hurts to lose someone whom you love. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of parishioners who will accompany you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Go to https://www.griefshare.org/ for more information

Any parishioner wishing to volunteer their services to, or make use of, any of the above should contact the parish office or one of the steering team members.
