Life Teen is our interactive and inspiring High School Catechetical Program, which explores our Faith by taking the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church, and presenting it in a fun, engaging and relevant way. By doing its best to stay in tune with the ever-changing teen culture, we focus on creating a loving environment of belonging, believing and behaving, in order to revitalise the passion for our great Faith amongst our youth.
Our weekly sessions, called "Life Nights", look to re-energize the older classroom catechism model and take place on Sunday evenings after 5:15 pm Mass during the School Term, and include different and interesting combinations of talks, activities, skits, videos, discussions, prayer and fellowship. The Life Nights are grouped into different semesters, and include opportunities to look at real issues that affect the lives of teenagers today. Life Teen is run by a Core Team of eleven passionate and diverse leaders. This internationally-based program, which falls within the Roman Catholic Church and draws off the Mass, ultimately has one primary goal: to lead teens closer to Christ.
If any child from Gr 7 upwards hasn’t received these Sacraments for whatever reason, they will first meet with the Parish Priest and then be incorporated into an Intensive Preparation programme.
