The parish provides a special ministry to its sick and housebound through regulare visits from parishioners and communion calls on a weekly basis.

If a member of your family is ill, going into hospital or recovering at home after hospitalisation, please inform Deacon Peter (031 – 563 5554). All the hospitals in the Durban area have a hospital chaplain. That parish secretary will inform him of parishioners who have been hospitalised.

Ministers of the Eucharist take Holy Communion to all the sick of the parish every Sunday after the 9:00am Mass. If a member of your family is ill and unable to attend Holy Mass (even if it is only the flu) please telephone the parish office (031-5635554) before 5:00pm on Saturdays to arrange for Communion on the Sunday.
