Situated just north of the city of Durban, Our Lady of Fatima Parish is part of the
Durban Central & North Deanery of the Archdiocese of Durban. The parish was
established in 1959 by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate who served here until 1980.
Since then it has been served by priests of the Archdiocese.
The church was built in 1963, the Parish Office in 1996 and extended in 2008.
In the future we look forward to the construction of a Pastoral Centre to serve the
ever increasing activities of the parish.
The present parish population is made up of approximately 900 families, drawn
from in and around the Durban North area. The parish priest is Father Desmond Nair,
a priest of the Archdiocese who has
served the parish since January 1990. He is assisted by Deacon Peter Venter.
